Saori was trained through the Suzuki Method in Japan, and is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy.  She studied with Russian teachers in Kansas City and at Chopin Academy in Warsaw with Polish teachers.  Her cross-cultural experiences have given her the skills to work with students from diverse backgrounds with different learning styles.

 

Besides teaching, Saori enjoys working as a dance accompanist and a church pianist.  She received Suzuki training at the Holy Names University in Oakland, CA, studying under Caroline Fraser.  Saori has just completed her Master's degree in Piano Performance at DePaul University in Chicago under the guidance of George Vatchnadze and moved to San Francisco Bay area to pursue another Master's degree in Kodaly at Holy Names University.
